Our recent collaboration with the Emerald Hill Community, led by Roman Catholic Dominican Sisters, resulted in the construction of a green house and drip irrigation system. ZimWorX members embodied our core value of generosity by planting 1600 tomato seedlings.
The intervention at Emerald Hill will turn their nutritional garden into a thriving oasis. The Oasis tomatoes we planted have a long lifespan, providing sustenance for up to 8 months. This not only ensures ample food for the children but also generates income for the community through surplus produce sold at the market.
